Born in Osaka. 
She graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts VD department. 
She went to France after working for a textile maker.
She studied illustration at the National School of Decorative Arts (ENSAD) in Paris.
When she lived in France, she was fascinated by West Africa and went to Burkina Faso. She returned to Japan influenced by French and African culture.
Currently she is active as a freelancer in Japan and France for illustrations, textiles, miscellaneous goods, picture books, etc.

Belongs to Japan Textile Design Association
