Born in 1965

Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design.
After working as a product planning designer for a stationery maker, she became a painter. 
She has a unique world of pastel and works on book design and illustrations.

Received the Nippon Broadcasting System Award at the 50th Sankei Children's Book Culture

Award
Received the Illustration Award at the 40th Kodansha Publishing Culture Award

Received the Silver Award in the professional category at the 3rd TIS (Tokyo Illustrators Society)

Won the semi-grand prix at Gallery House Maya "Competition for Drawing Designs Vol.1"

Selected for the Picture Book Division at the Nissan Picture Book and Fairy Tale Grand Prix

 

Exhibition

"The Secret Key to the Universe" by Lucy & Stephen Hawking, "The Miracle of 34th Street" by Valentine Davis, in charge of illustrations and title drawings.
She published original picture books such as "Ukiwaneko", "Yukigafuru", and a ghost story picture book "Kuuki Ningen". She draws many other illustrations, title drawings, etc.
